Florida Commission Status of Women
The Florida Commission on the Status of Women is a non-partisan body comprised of 22 Commissioners who focus on raising awareness and celebrating the contributions and successes of women.Â
In this role, Paulsen serves as a voice for the women of Florida and what’s specifically affecting them.
The organization’s goal is to provide communication, promotion, and collaboration among the hundreds of organizations working in all 67 counties that are focused on the welfare of the women of Florida. They are interested in improving the well-being of Florida women and girls – and by extension, all Floridians. In doing so, they strive to be a resource for lawmakers, businesses, and residents so they have a better understanding of these important issues.
Jobs and Economic Opportunities Committee
The Jobs and Economic Opportunities Committee (JEOC), created by resolution on March 24, 2015, consists of volunteer members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, representing a group of professionals from diverse industries. This committee requires a minimum of five (5) members and maximum of nine (9) members. View the resolution.
The purpose of the JEOC is to:
- Receive updates on the status of projects funded through the JEO Trust Fund Program
- Receive quarterly updates on JEO Trust Fund revenues and expenditures
- Hear and make recommendations on JEO Trust Fund Program marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Present an annual report to the Board of County Commissioners as to whether the JEO Trust Fund Program is progressing in the desired direction

Equal Business Opportunity Advisory Council (EBOAC)
The Equal Business Opportunity Program is tailored to help small, women, minority, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and LGBT-owned businesses flourish. Businesses can find resources, access business opportunities, and enroll in training. Women/Minority (WMBE) and Small Local Business (SLBE) certification services are provided at no cost to business owners.
The organization’s purpose is to promote the participation and use of SLBE and when authorized by law, WMBE businesses in city contracting and procurement, as well as to relay concerns of minority contractors, women contractors, non-minority contractors, and citizens at-large to the city about the operation of this program.
Latinos for Trump
We live in a diverse country with many unique but often overlapping interests and political goals. Our purpose was to engage, embrace, and entrust as many unique demographics and communities as possible within the state of Florida. Coalition engagement and activations are an integral part of political campaigns and their efforts in targeting and growing a relationship with a specific community.
Rosie’s mission as Grassroots Leader was simple: to cultivate impactful relationships, expand the organization’s reach, and increase turnout support for President Trump in every community.
Results: 15% increase in Latino votes from the previous year.
